News from ROC
Greetings to all, On behalf of the Recovery Outreach Center, The ROC, I am sending the following the update.
We are moving forward with our project. We currently have three pieces of property we are considering for use for our first home. We are actively engaged with the property owners to work out a deal for the property. The Properties are in the Richlands/Tazewell area and will allow us a place to start and would allow for future expansion. More details to come. If you are aware of any houses or vacant land on the out skirts of town, please contact us.
Our email list has several “delivery failures”, so we will be contacting some of you to update your email addresses or ask for a more valid address of someone you may know. If you know of anyone who would like to be included in our email support list, please let us know.
Our funding is very good for this year. We have moved over $30,000 in donations for 2011 and we feel we are ready to begin our much needed project. During the summer we will provide a public accounting of our funding to all.
Lastly, We are getting ever closer to our goal of opening a much needed Discipleship Home. If you have any ideas or input for us, please contact myself or one of the board members. We welcome your input. We will also be in the process of identifying a strong house leader during the summer. If you have suggestions or ideas, please send us an email.
